Think pink!
Despite the London summer being what is it, I find myself being drawn to pink day dresses at the moment. Especially striped and plaid ones have my big girly heart. Here are a few of my current favourite frocks via Etsy. They come in a variety of sizes, prices and eras so there should be something for every lady looking to add a touch of whimsy into their wardrobe.

wow wow love the delightful shades of pink here. I am a sucker for the 50s styles, the candystripes are so whimsical and love the print on the 1970s dress, as well as the gorgeous 1940s eyelet day dress.
ReplyDeleteKatie - I'm such a sucker for candy stripes, especially in peppermint. I tend to hate it when those "1970s does 1930s" dresses come up on my search but that bow print dress really is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteRiikka, I could be wrong here, but I think that "70s" dress may actually be the real McCoy. I have a 30s dress with that exact buckle on it. Also, there's just something about the fabric, the cut, the fact there is no label. Can't say with 100% certainty as I can't see it in person, but my spider senses are tingling. Anyway, pink is always a joy to me!
ReplyDeleteBaronessVonVintage - You're right, it very well could be. Like I said in the comment above, it is outstandingly beautiful for one of those "1970s does 1930s" dresses. And quite a steal at $38.00...
ReplyDeleteSooooooooooooo much pink! I love candy stripes too, they just scream seaside and sunshine. x
ReplyDeleteI love pink aswell. I could wear it everyday!
ReplyDeleteso cute! unfortunately (or fortunately?) none of my favourites were in my size, but they're going straight to my inspiration folder!
ReplyDeleteUHHHHHHHHHH I love all of these! That last dress is simply perfect... except not my size. Tears!
