The owls are not what they seem

On Friday, Minna and I held a David Lynch themed Halloween / housewarming party. Inspired by Oona's Lynch-lunch from earlier this year, it gave us and our lovely friends the perfect excuse to dress up as our favourite Lynchian characters.

We had Lynch-lunch, which naturally means a healthy dose of donuts, apple pie (substituting for cherry pie as there are no cherries in our neck of woods at this time of the year), cheese sandwiches and, of course, damn fine cups of coffee, served black. Okay, and maybe some alcohol too. We danced to various Lynch soundtracks whilst Twin Peaks and Lost Highway played in the background - and continued dancing until 4am.

Happy Halloween, guys and ghouls!

  1. Seriously wonderful costumes (and hair, may I add). Love the sweet treats you enjoyed, too - doughnuts and Halloween go hand-in-hand to my mind as well.

Wishing you a beautiful start of November,
